Welcome Message
The Medway River Users Association was formed in 1968 after catastrophic floods which ravaged the Medway valley destroying homes, businesses, property and not least lives. We continue the ongoing challenge of persuading and lobbying the authorities responsible for the River and its environment to do the essential maintenance that may not be obvious to the casual observer. It is a task that can sometimes be difficult and frustrating, but the rewards are worth it when we see the river being enjoyed by so many. This navigation needs a lot of maintenance to keep it up to a standard that the user expects.
We can only do this with Maximum Support from the people who use this facility. The association is made from organisations, groups and individuals that benefit for this natural gift to our county.

Aims of the Association.
